Oooh what’s this button do?

Hey folks,

With the new website and all, I thought perhaps I should throw a post up here to let you all know what’s been shakin’ in our neck of the woods.

First off, the new record is very near completion. We’re very excited for you all to hear what we’ve been doing for the last year or so, between shows of course. It’s going to be a 16 track album, clocking in at right around an hour. Not too shabby, yeah? Certainly worth the wait, I can assure you. We really tapped into a lot of influences for this monster of an album. Upon listening, you will find everything from country (When Tomorrow Ends) to metal (Seaside Suicide) to indie rock (Desperation Proof) and of course a heaping helping of the gothic tinged, romantic horror that our fans have come to expect over the last couple of years. There’s even a blues infused southern rock n roll track, aptly titled “Southern Belle”, for good measure! Once the last few additions have been made, I will post a full track listing right here.

We have a bunch of local shows coming up in the next few months, including a couple of shows with the Goddamn Gallows and a hometown show with NW punk legends, Neutralboy. We’re still working on getting a nice, lengthy tour ready to support the release of our debut full length, “Of Prayers & Pestilence”. We will keep you posted as things start to fall into place. We hope to see you all on the road very soon.

In other news, Robot Monster, Inc. is going to be releasing their first compilation cd, entitled The Sound Of Horror, in October. We are quite excited to announce that you will be able to hear your first taste of the new album on said comp. We have decided to release a dark, heavy, melodic piece entitled “Paris After Dark”, before the record comes out later this year. You will also find tracks, many unreleased, from some of the biggest names in the horror game. We are quite excited about this epic release, and hope you all will rush out in October to pick it up!

Well, that’s enough for now. I’ll keep you posted on any interesting happenings as things progress. Be sure to check back often for information only available here, on our fancy official website.

Cheers and well wishes,

~A~
